Troop 175 and 1175 successfully managed the largest fundraiser of the year at the Simsbury Fly-in on October 1st, 2023. Scouts and parents came together to handle all parking logistics, ensuring a smooth flow of thousands of cars entering and exiting multiple parking lots.
On the day of the fly-in, scouts collected money at the entrance and efficiently facilitated parking operations from 8 AM to 5 PM. This event provided an excellent opportunity for scouts to earn money for their scout accounts, with many maximizing their earnings by working both setup days and the event itself. The fundraiser was a tremendous success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of all the scouts and parents involved. The funds raised will support various scouting activities and programs throughout the year.
