Scout Troop 175 in Simsbury returned to the eastern slopes of Mount Washington to hike up to Tuckerman Ravine this past March. Mount Washington creates its own weather and is commonly referred to as “Home of The World’s Worst Weather.” This was a strenuous 3 hour hike up, with a descent that can be just as hard. Once in the ravine, the scouts and enjoyed the views, had lunch, and for the adventurous skiers in the group, take a few runs from the headwall.
